nstalled the proprietary drivers from the software & updates, with driver version nvidia - 470.
However, nvidia SMI throws the error :
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
After turning off the secure boot, the issue seems to be resolved, but this disrupts the GUI and it hangs / grains on screen / lines and renders Ubuntu inoperable, as a typical Graphic driver issue.
Please help me in resolving this issue and thanks a lot in advance!!
